PARTNERSHIP
The Friends of CASA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency, and the Washtenaw County Trial Court - Juvenile Division work together to expand and support CASA of Washtenaw County.
TRIAL COURT - JUVENILE DIVISION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assign children to CASA volunteers;
- Supervise CASA volunteers with paid CASA coordinators (1:30 ratio of coordinators to CASA volunteers);
- Recuit and train CASA volunteers;
- Facilitate interaction with other public agencies, such as the Department of Human Services (DHS).
