Friends of CASA

WHO ARE THE FRIENDS OF CASA? Friends of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. HISTORY Friends of CASA was founded in 1999. MISSION STATEMENT Friends of CASA promotes the quality, sustainability, and growth of the CASA of Washtenaw County Program. We create awareness and provide funding and support for neglected and abused children under the jurisdiction of the Washtenaw County Trial Court - Juvenile Division. CORE VALUES We have the COMMITMENT to serve the neglected and abused children in Washtenaw County with RESPECT for everyone involved in their case.  We have the INTEGRITY to operate with the highest standards of quality, effectiveness, and accountability to the CASA volunteers, CASA coordinators, donors, and partners.  We have the PASSION to persevere and succeed in the CASA mission to assure that each child thrives in a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.
