Friends of CASA depends on the generous support of individuals, foundations, businesses, and community groups. Today, YOU can help provide a volunteer advocate for a child in need by donating to Friends of CASA. National CASA reports the cost of recruiting, training, and supervising a CASA volunteer is $960. Please check out our local success stories! Many children do not yet have a CASA volunteer on their side. Your support is vital to providing CASA volunteers to advocate for all children in need. BECOME A VOLUNTEER CASA Volunteers work on behalf of children removed from their homes because of neglect or abuse. A CASA gives a voice in court. Learn more about Volunteer Opportunities. | Cinderella Fund Purpose of the Cinderella Fund The Cinderella Fund was established by the Friends of CASA to provide for the special needs of the children assigned to CASAvolunteers. The Cinderella Fund is not intended for items covered by Department of Human Services stipends. Rather, they are designed to provide the children with important and meaningful items or services that fall beyond the normal DHS budget.
